Council National Scout Jamboree Contingent
The Central N.C. Council currently has been allocated 2 Troops consisting of 72 youth and 8 adult leaders and 1/2 Crew consisting of 16 youth and 4 adult leaders to attend the 2017 National Scout Jamboree, which will be held in New River Gorge, West Virginia at Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.  The council must inform the National Office of the total number of participants we plan to send to the Summit by the end of November 2015.  We will reduce the number of groups allocated if we do not have enough commitments by that date.  Please complete both the National BSA* and Council online registrations if you wish to be considered for this event.  Click Here for More Info.
Youth Protection
Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers. Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer's Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered. Click Here to get started.
