    Come attend our 12th Annual Scouts Night on Friday, March 6 with fellow scouts and watch your Charlotte Hornets take on the Toronto Raptors! It will be a great night filled with fun and entertainment. Almost 900 scouts and their family members had the experience of a lifetime back in November and we want to build upon that great evening! The group that brings the most people will get to come early for a special VIP experience and watch shootaround before the doors open to the general public! (Minimum of 25 tickets required). $5 from every ticket purchased will go back to your council!

    The new vision for Venturing uses youth-led adventures and a simplified program model to provide a means of developing leadership skills, reinforcing the value of service to others, and creating opportunities for personal growth in line with the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

    As part of a national Boy Scout of America program, the Central NC Council is excited to announce their participation in the Voice of the Scout. With over four million members nationally, this program is being adopted as a key way to collect experiences and deliver upon the expectation of members as they participate in Scouting.

    Attention Volunteers: The new "Be A Scout" Campaign has launched and the new Map feature is now Live on the National BSA site. This means that Youth and Parents IN YOUR AREA will be using this Map feature to find Scout Units.

    Effective immediately, the Cabarrus Scout Shop, in addition to the council office in Albemarle, will be able to fill your advancement orders FREE of charge. All advancement orders must be accompanied by a properly completed advancement report.
