Pack and Troop News  

Pack and Troop 49

We are currently working on our God and Country training. On November 9-11,012, 2 we are planning a Campout at Reeds Gold Mine!

Pack and Troop 90

We will be taking orders for the annual Bar-be-que sell which will be held Monday, November 12, 2012.  Proceeds help support Pack and Troop 90 activities. The Boy Scouts are working on the cooking merit badges, while the Webelos are working on knot tying.  Cubs are diligently working toward advancement with the older boys help!

Pack and Troop 64

Scouts will be working on the Scouting Heritage merit badge.  There will be a camping trip to Dewitt's Outdoor Sports on November 16-18. The cost is $35.00 per scout.  All dads are invited to come and spend the day with their sons on Saturday.  November 19th, we will be cleaning the scout trailer and camping equipment.

Troop 527

Troop 527 will preside at the Flag Raising Ceremony for the Seaboard Festival in Hamlet, N.C. on Saturday, October 27, 2012.  On the weekend of November 9-11, we will be hiking and camping the Burhead Trail in Randolph County!

Pack 85

We will be going on a visit to the Richmond County Emergency Services building on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.  Also, on November 13, 2012, we will have a scouting guest speaker talk with the boys about his experience of saving a life that was featured in Boys Life Magazine in 1972.


Pack 1215

First Baptist Church Rockingham is having a Halloween party for the scouts on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at .  Also, we will have a Flag-Burning Ceremony on November 15, 2012.


We are currently working on our costumes for the Indian Dance Competition that will be held at Camp John J. Barnhart.
