National Youth Leadership Training

Who: Male and Female Scouts who have reached the age of 14 and who have attained the rank of First class, Excluding Venture scouts. Participants must also have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills (ILS) at the Troop or Crew level.

 

What: National Youth Leadership Training is a nationally driven curriculum that teaches young adults to become better leaders. It combines problem solving skills, planning skills, and leadership experiences with dozens of fun filled activities like building catapults and using GPS units in competitions.

When & Where

Weekend #1: May 26-28, 2018 @ Camp John J Barnhardt

Weekend #2: June 15-17, 2018 @ Camp Cabarrus

 

Cost: The cost is $250.00 up until April 25, 2018. (Late fee of $275.00 will begin April 26, 2018)

 

**Course graduates will receive an NYLT neckerchief, Council Shoulder Patch, NYLT Trained patch, NYLT beads (think Wood Badge) and a certificate.** 

Fee includes a shirt to be used during the course. 

 

Packing list will be similar to summer camp.
