What is Winter Camp?

Winter Camp is a two day, three night excitement filled Camping activity being held at Camp John J Barnhardt in New London, North Carolina. Check in will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018 and end after Breakfast on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

The Central North Carolina Council is proud to host this event where your Boy Scout Troop, Venture Crew or Exploring Post will be able to earn a variety of Merit Badges and participate in many great activities.

We will have competitive games, broom hockey, tomahawk throws, Igloo building, a polar bear plunge, Eskimo Luau. This is not your typical Camporee or Summer Camp! You do not want to miss this exciting event!

Cost: $65 per youth, before December 1, 2018, after this it will be $75 up until December 20th at which point registration will be CLOSED. All adults will be $40.00. If financial assistance is being requested you must inform your District Executive, Program Director (Kyle Camp) and myself before December 1, 2018.

(Adult fee only includes patch, not a T-Shirt)

All participants who register before December 1 will be given a specially designed Central NC Council Inaugural Winter Camp T-Shirt. All participants will receive an event patch.

Check-in will begin Thursday evening at 6:00 pm with events starting at 9:00am on Friday. The first meal offered will be Friday morning breakfast. We will wrap up the weekend after Breakfast on Sunday morning. (Approximately 10am)

Cancellation Policy
Central NC Council has a NO REFUND Policy. We make every effort to have enough patches, programs supplies, t-shirts, food or whatever supplies each event requires. In order for that to happen we need to have accurate attendance numbers. Once you have registered for an event we are counting on your attendance and we will be purchasing the needed items for the event. Due to this fact we cannot refund event and activities fees for any reason.
