Merit Badge College

When: February 12, 2022

Time: Check-in 7:45am-9:15am. Classes 9am-4pm

Where: Camp John J. Barnhardt

Cost: $20 except for Shotgun which is $30. Cost includes: program supplies, patch and lunch. (Participants must pre-register for this event)

Must be registered by Feb 1st to guarantee receiving a patch for this event!

The purpose of the merit badge program is to allow Scouts to examine subjects to determine if they would like to further pursue them as a career. For this event, one badge per Scout! For class to continue, there must be two Scouts registered for the class. If the class is canceled, Scout may take another merit badge class. 

This is a non-camping event but your Troop is welcome to camp. If you wish to camp, please fill out the camping request and return to Kyle.Camp@Scouting.org by January 31st.  

Scouts will need to bring the following: Blue Card, Camping Chair, Paper/Pen and Water Bottle.

Cancellation Policy
Central NC Council has a NO REFUND Policy. We make every effort to have enough patches, programs supplies, t-shirts, food or whatever supplies each event requires. In order for that to happen we need to have accurate attendance numbers. Once you have registered for an event we are counting on your attendance and we will be purchasing the needed items for the event. Due to this fact we cannot refund event and activities fees for any reason.
