Delete Forums
This function allows you to delete the forum and all its messages. This permanently removes the forum from the system.
To delete a forum:
If the Forums List page is displayed, skip to step #4.
If the Main Information page is not displayed, click
the Feature List link at the top of the current page.
The Main Information page will be displayed.
Click the Manage Forums link in the
Administer Sidebar menu.
The Forums List page will be displayed. The page displays a list of current
forums on the left, the date and time that the forums was last updated, and
a list of available actions on the right.
The message at the top of the page indicates the number of allocated forums
for the organization and how many of the allocated number are currently
being used.
If you want to work with forums for another
organization, choose the organization name from the View Forums for
drop-down list at the top of the page.
The page will be refreshed with the forums for the selected organization.
Click the Delete link in the Action column for
the forum that you want to delete.
The system will display a delete verification page so that you can confirm
that you want to remove the forum and all its messages.
Click the Yes button on the Delete page if you
want to continue the delete process.
The system will delete the forum and all its messages from the database.
The Forums List page will be returned.
You should click the No button if you change your mind about deleting
the forum.
