View/Print Summary Results


The View Summary Results report allows you to view the questions and results for individual pages or all pages on the form.  You can also print the results from this function.

To view and print summary results:

  1. If you are in the Forms and Survey function,
    Click the Reports tab link on the Page Secondary Menu, and then Skip to step #6.

  2. If the Main Information page is not displayed, click the Features List link at the top of the current page.

  3. Click the Forms and Survey link on the Administer list.
    The Manage Forms page will be displayed.

  4. If you need to change organizations at this point, you can choose the organization from the Organization drop-down list at the top of the page.

  5. Click the Reports tab link in the Page Secondary Menu area.
    The Search Form Results page will be displayed.

  6. Select a form from the Form drop-down list.

  7. Click the View Reports button.
    The system will display the Search Form Results page for the selected form.  The page will contain a search area at the top of the page and a list of links to the individual responses at the bottom of the page.

  8. If you want to change the form that you are viewing,
    select the form from the Form drop-down list at the top of the page and
    click the Change Survey button.
    The system will redisplay the Search Form Results page with the selected survey results.

  9. If you want to narrow the response list to a range of results (scores),
    Enter the beginning number in the From text box,
    Enter the ending number in the To text box, and
    Click the Search button on that line.
    The system will search the database for responses that have a score in that range.
    This function is not available for those forms that do not have associated scoring or costs.

  10. If you want to narrow the response list to a particular question,
    Select a question from the first drop-down list in the Search by Question line,
    Select an operator from the Select an Operator drop-down list,
    Select a value from the Value drop-down list or enter an optional value in the blank text box, and
    Click the Search button.
    The system will search the database for the question and will redisplay the list of responses.

  11. Click the Summary Results button.
    The system will display the Summary Results page.  The page contains the title and description of the form, total responses as of the Report Time day and time, and the results summary by question.

    If there are multiple pages on the report, you will have the option of displaying one or all of the pages.

  12. If there are multiple pages in the survey, choose the page from the Choose Page drop-down list. 
    You can select all pages from the list; however, be aware that displaying all pages for a large form can take time to display.

  13. If you want to print the summary results for the form, continue with the next step.  If not, you are through with these instructions and can click another Page Secondary Menu link or the Features Link to return to the Main Information page.

  14. Click the Printable Version button.
    The system will open a new Browser window and will display the report in a format ready for printing.

  15. Choose the Print command from the Browser File menu.
    The Print dialog box will be displayed.

  16. Click the OK button on the Print dialog box.
    The system will queue the report to the selected printer.

  17. If you are through with the Print Version window, click the Close button in the title bar of that window, or choose Close from the File menu.

  18. When you are through with the Reports function, you can click on a link on the Page Secondary Menu or click the Features Link to return to the Main Information page.
