Edit Sub Program
To edit a sub program:
If the Program and Event Administration menu page is displayed, skip to step #4.
Click the Features Link at the top of the
current page.
The Main Information page should be displayed.
Click the Manage Events link in the Administer
List Sidebar menu on the Main Information page.
The Program and Event Administration menu page will be displayed.
If you need to change organizations at this point, choose the organization from the Select an organization drop-down list at the top of the page.
Click the Manage Program link in the Programs
column of the menu page.
The Manage Programs page will be displayed. The page will display a list of
programs in alphabetical order, their effective and end dates, the status of
the program and a Manage action link.
If the program is not listed on the current page, use
the Navigation links at the top of the list to select the first letter of
the program.
The system will scroll the page to the list of programs starting with the
letter you selected. You can also use the vertical scroll bar to find the
program.
Click the Manage link for the program that you want to
manage.
The Manage Program page will be displayed with all the details for the
selected program.
If you need to expand session events, click the plus
icon to list all details for the session.
You can use the minus icon to collapse a session or sub-program structure.
Click the Edit link for the sub-program that you
want to edit.
Be sure to click the Edit link at the sub-program level to edit the
sub-program - there are Edit links for the sub-program components as well.
The Manage Programs (for sub-program) page will be displayed. The Parent
Program name will be displayed in read-only format.
You can change the sub-program name in the Program Name
text box.
This field is required.
Enter the description of the sub-program in the Program
Description Rich Text box.
If you are using Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher, a Rich Text
Editing text box will be displayed. Please refer to the
Rich Text instructions for further information about using this box.
Enter the beginning date of the sub-program in the
Effective Date text box or click the Calendar icon to use the
Pop Up Calendar function to select the date.
The field is required and will default to the program start date. If the
sub-program dates are different than the program, you should enter the
separate start date for the sub-program.
Enter the ending date of the sub-program in the End
Date text box or click the Calendar icon to use the
Pop Up Calendar function to select the date.
The field is required and will default to the program end date. If the
sub-program dates are different than the program, you should enter the
different end date for the sub-program.
Select Calendar Activity from the Program Type drop-down list if the sub-program is an activity.
Select Class from the Program Type drop-down
list if the sub-program is a class.
This field is required and will default to Calendar Activity.
Select Not Active from the Active drop-down list if you are pre-staging the sub-program for activation at a later date.
If you want sub-program to be available for registration immediately, leave the Active item selected in the Active drop-down list.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
The system will save the sub-program information and will return to the
Manage Programs page.
Click the Done button to return to the Program and Event Administration page.
