Assign Awards to Multiple Members


This function allows you to first select an award or merit badge and then assign it to multiple members in the organization.

To assign awards to multiple members:

  1. If the Administer Members and Users page is not displayed,
    click the Features List link at the top of the current page to display the Main Information page, and then
    click the Member Information link in the Administer List on the sidebar menu.
    The Administer Members and Users page will be displayed. 

  2. If you need to change the organization at this point, select it from the Select an Organization drop-down list at the top of the page.

  3. If you want the member lists displayed for rosters in any year, turn off the Only show roster for current year checkbox option at the bottom of the page.
    A checkmark in the box will limit the information to the current year roster.  A blank checkmark will retrieve members from all years.

  4. Click the Advancement Awards for Groups of Users radio button in the Create and Manage area.

  5. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
    The Advancement Assignment page will be displayed.  The page contains a list of awards for the organization.

  6. Select the award from the Awards List.
    You can only select one award from the list.

  7. Click the Assign Achievement button.
    The Assign Group Achievements page will be displayed.  The page will display a Membership List and a list of members that already have the award.  If no one has achieved this award, the list on the right will be blank.

  8. Select the member name(s) from the Membership List.
    You can select multiple names from the list.

  9. Enter the award date in the Award Date text box.
    This field is optional, but should be entered if you have the information.

  10. Click the Add button at the bottom of the list.
    The system will add the award for the member and will display the member�s name and award date in the Members with This Award list.

  11. If you need to remove a member�s award from the Members with Award list, select the member name from the list and click the Remove button.
    The system will ask that you verify the removal.

  12. Click the OK button to continue with the removal of the item.
    The page will be redisplayed and the item you selected for removal will no longer be in the list. 

  13. When you are through maintaining the member�s awards, click the Done button at the bottom of the page.
    The Advancement Assignment page will be displayed.

  14. If you are through with the function, click the Done button at the bottom of this page.
    OR
    You can click the Features List link at the top of the page to return to the Main Information page.

Tip:

You can select multiple items from most lists. 
If you want to select contiguous items, click the first item, press the {Shift} key, and click the last item that you want to select.  All items in between will be selected.
If you want to select non-contiguous items, press the {Ctrl} key and click each item that you want to select.  Only those items that you click will be selected.
