Reference Existing  Member Profile


You can use this function to link members of other organizations to the current organization.  By using this function, you will copy a member name and profile information from another organization into the current organization database.

To reference a member from another organization:

  1. If the Administer Members and Users page is not displayed, click the Member Information link in the Administer List on the sidebar menu.
    The Administer Members and Users page will be displayed. 

  2. If you need to change the organization at this point, select it from the Select an Organization drop-down list at the top of the page.

  3. If you want the member lists displayed for rosters in any year, turn off the Only show roster for current year checkbox option at the bottom of the page.
    A checkmark in the box will limit the information to the current year roster.  A blank checkmark will retrieve members from all years

  4. Click the Create and Administer Individual Users radio button.

  5. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
    The Member Administration List page will be displayed.

  6. Click the Reference Existing Member Profile radio button.

  7. Click the OK button at the bottom of the page.
    The Reference an Existing Member in Another Organization page will be displayed.  The page will list all members of the selected organization and will make them available for selection.

  8. If you want to select a member from a different the organization than the one displayed, select the organization name from the drop-down list at the top of the page.

  9. Select the member name from the Member List.
    You can only select one member at a time for this function.

  10. Click the Alias User button.
    The system will retrieve the member�s information and will copy it to your organization�s database.  The Member Administration List page will be displayed.  The member you copied will now be in the list for both organizations.

  11. If you are through with administering individual members, click the Done button to return to the Administer Members and Users page.

    You can click the Features List link at the top of the page to return to the Main Information page.
