Edit Counselor Information
To edit a counselor record:
If the Merit Badge Counselor List is displayed, skip to step #8.
If the Main Information page is not displayed, click the Feature List link at the top of the current page.
Click the Merit Badge Counselors link in the
Administer List Sidebar menu.
The Merit Badge Counselor Administration page is displayed.
If you need to change the organization you are working on, select it from the Organization drop-down list at the top of the page.
Click the Counselor Administration radio button.
If you want to show all counselors - active and
non-active, click the checkbox at the bottom of the page to turn the option
off.
A blank checkbox indicates that all counselors will be listed - no matter
the status. A checkmark in the checkbox indicates that only the active
counselors will be listed.
Click the OK button at the bottom of the page.
The Merit Badge Counselor List page will be displayed. The page displays
list of counselors and available functions.
Select the counselor name from the Counselor List.
Click the Edit Counselor Information radio button.
Click the OK button at the bottom of the page.
The Create and Edit Counselor Profile page will be displayed with the
counselor�s profile information.
You can edit the counselor�s last name in the Last Name
text box.
This field is required.
Edit the first name in the First Name text box.
This field is required.
Enter the street address in the Address text box.
Enter the city address in the City text box.
Select the state or province code from the State drop-down list.
Enter the zip or postal code in the Zip text box.
Enter the business phone number in the Work Phone text box.
Enter the home phone number in the Home Phone text box.
Enter the date that the counselor was trained in the
Date Trained text box.
Enter the date in mm/dd/yyyy format.
Enter the registration number in the Registration Number text box.
Enter the date that the training/registration was
updated in the Date Updated text box.
Enter the date in mm/dd/yyyy format.
Enter the date on which the registration expires in the
Date Expired text box.
Enter the date in mm/dd/yyyy format.
Select the troop unit from the Unit drop-down list.
If the Unit list does not contain the unit, enter it in the text box next to the drop-down list.
Enter the counselor�s primary email address in the E-mail 1 text box.
Enter the counselor�s secondary email address if applicable, in the E-mail 2 text box.
You can enter any notes or a memo in the Note text box.
If the counselor is to be active, leave the Active
checkbox turned on.
A checkmark in the checkbox indicates that the counselor will be active. A
blank checkbox indicates that the counselor will be inactive.
If the counselor�s address should be shown on the Merit
Badge Counselor List, leave the Show Address checkbox turned on.
A checkmark in the checkbox indicates that the address will be shown. A
blank checkbox indicates that the address will be hidden.
Click the Add button at the bottom of the page.
The system will update the counselor�s profile and will display the Merit
Badge Counselor List page.
If you are through maintaining profiles, click the Done button to return to the Merit Badge Counselor Administration page.
If you are through with the Merit Badge Counselor function, you can click the Done button or click Feature List link to display the Main Information page.
