Site Brander Overview

Site Brander functions allow you to customize the website and create links to internal/external URLs or Include files.  The features included in Site Brander that are available to you depends on the service level for which your organization enrolled and your individual access level.  Your access level may also limit the functions you can use, as well as some of the items within the available functions.

Before you begin the edit process, you can determine if you want to use Rich Text for editing and then configure the Rich Text box size.

Site Brander Pro Functions

Site Brander Pro is available to organizations that have signed up for full service.  Members in that organization that have full Site Brander access have the following functions available to them.

• Create & Edit Page Elements
  This function allows you to customize the website template including all page header, style sheet, columns, page footers, etc.

• Create & Edit Page Elements and Link Files
  This function allows you to edit Include files that have already been defined or create new ones so that they can be associated with a link using the Create & Edit Menu and Links function. 

• Upload and Delete Files
  This option allows you to upload images, control files, include files, etc.  You can also delete uploaded files with this function.

• Clean up �inc�Files
  Use this function to delete any Include files that are not being used.

• Backup files to a Zip file
  This function will backup all Site Brander files including uploaded images, Include files, style files, etc.  The option allows you to download the zip file to be stored on your hard drive.

• Create & Edit Menu and Links
  Use this option to create or edit customized menu links for the site.  The menus can be displayed in the Features List column or in a separate menu area at the top of the page.  The function allows you to create the menus and links as well as associate internal URLs, external URLs or Include files to the links.  You can also link organizational library documents, newsletters, events, photo albums, or features to the link.
  If the linked file needs to be restricted to certain organizations (and optionally groups within an organization), you can define the restrictions using functions within this option.

• Order Appearance of Links
  This option allows you to change the order of the menu links.

• Configuration Parameters
  Use this function to configure the custom menus and links.

• Build Drop-down Menus
  Once the menus and links have been created and configured to your liking, use this function to have the system build the menus for display on the website.

Site Brander Limited Functions

Site Brander Limited is available to organizations that have signed up for full service.  The organization can give Site Brander Limited access to members that are responsible for limited maintenance of the site. 

• Create & Edit Page Elements
  This function allows you to customize the website template including all page header, style sheet, columns, page footers, etc.

• Create & Edit Menu and Links
  Use this option to create or edit customized menu links for the site.  The menus can be displayed in the Features List column or in a separate menu area at the top of the page.  The function allows you to create the menus and links as well as associate internal URLs, external URLs or Include files to the links.  You can also link organizational library documents, newsletters, events, photo albums, or features to the link.
