Find a Payment
This function will present five fields that you can use to perform a search for a particular payment. You only need to use one of the fields in order to perform the search.
To find a payment:
If the Main Information page is not displayed, click the Features List link at the top of the current page.
Click the Financial Accounts link in the
Administer List Sidebar menu on the Main Information page.
The Manage Organizational Account page will be displayed. The accounts for
the organization will be listed in the Account list with the account
balanced displayed after the account name.
Select the account from the Account List.
Click the Find a payment radio button.
Click the OK button at the bottom of the page.
The Find a payment page will be displayed. The page displays five fields
that can be used to perform the search. You only need to use one of the
fields in order to perform the search.
If you know the date of the transaction, enter it in the Date text box.
If you know the payer's name, enter it in the Payer Name text box.
If it is a credit card purchase and you have the number, enter the first four digits in the First Four text box and the last four digits in the Last Four text box.
If it is a check purchase and you have the account information, enter the first four digits of the routing number in the First Four text box and the last four digits of the account in the Last Four text box.
If the transaction is an Online Store purchase and you have the Order ID, enter the information in the Order ID text box.
If the transaction is a registration for an event and you have the registration number, enter the information in the Registration No text box.
If you have the Payment ID number, enter it in the Payment ID text box.
Click the Search button at the bottom of the
page.
The system will search for transactions that meet the search criteria
entered. The transaction(s) found will be displayed at the bottom of the
page.
If you want to view the details of a transaction, click
the Details link for the item.
The Transaction Details page will be displayed. You can also
issue a credit from this page.
If the Transaction Details page is displayed and you want to return to the Find a Payment page, click the Browser Back button. Otherwise, click the Done button to return to the Manage Organizational Accounts page.
If the Find a Payment page is displayed, you can click the Done button to return to the Manage Organizational Accounts page.
If you are through with the Financial Accounts functions, you can click the Done button at the bottom of the page or click the Features List link at the top of the page to return to the Main Information page.
