Delete a Member Profile


This function allows you to delete member profiles, and their log on information from the current organization database.  If the member you are deleting was referenced from another organization (belongs to more than one organization), the member record will be deleted from the current organization, but will remain in the other organization database.

To delete a member profile:

  1. If the Administer Members and Users page is not displayed, click the Member Information link in the Administer List on the sidebar menu.
    The Administer Members and Users page will be displayed. 

  2. If you need to change the organization at this point, select it from the Select an Organization drop-down list at the top of the page.

  3. If you want the member lists displayed for rosters in any year, turn off the Only show roster for current year checkbox option at the bottom of the page.
    A checkmark in the box will limit the information to the current year roster.  A blank checkmark will retrieve members from all years

  4. Click the Create and Administer Individual Users radio button.

  5. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
    The Member Administration List page will be displayed.

  6. Select the member�s name from the Membership List.

  7. Click the Delete Member Profile radio button.

  8. Click the OK button at the bottom of the page.

  9. If the user is a member in only the current organization, the profile will be automatically deleted and the Member Administration List page will be redisplayed.
    The member will no longer be listed.  If you delete a member in error, you can recover that profile with the Recover Deleted Profile function.

  10. If the member is stored in more than one organization database, the Delete A Member page will be displayed.
    This means that if you delete the member here, you will not be able to use the Recover Deleted Users function, but will be able to recover the member with the Reference Existing Member Profile function.

  11. Click the Yes button to remove the member from the current organization.
    The member will be removed from this organization, but will remain in the other organization(s).
    The Member Administration List page will be displayed and that member will no longer be in the list for the current organization.

  12. If you are through with administering individual members, click the Done button to return to the Administer Members and Users page.
                            OR
    You can click the Features List link at the top of the page to return to the Main Information page.
