Assign Options to a Group

This function allows you to assign individual options to an Options Group.  Before assigning the options, they must first reside on the database.  You can use the Add New Options function to add options to the database.

To assign options to a group:

1. If the Features List sidebar menu is not available, click the Feature List link at the top of the current page.

2. Click the Store Management link in the Administer sidebar menu.
   The Store Management main menu will be displayed.  This page allows you to select the type of maintenance that you want to perform for the store.

3. Click the Manage Options Group link in the Products section of the menu.
   The Manage Options Group page will be displayed.

4. Select the option group from the Options Group List.
   The option group name should be highlighted.

5. Click the Assign Options radio button.

6. Click the OK button.
   The system will display the Options Assignment page.  The page displays the options currently assigned to the group and a list of other options available to assign.

7. Select the option that you want to assign to the group from the Available Options drop-down list.

8. Click the Assign button next to the list.
   The system will assign the option to the group and will display it in the Assigned Options line.  The assigned option will no longer be displayed in the Available Options for this group since it has been assigned to the group.

9. Repeat steps #7 and #8 for each option you want to assign.

10. If you need to remove an option from the group, click the Remove link next to the Assigned option.
    The system will remove that option from the group and will redisplay the page. 
    Note that this will not remove the option from the database - just the link to this group.  The option will be displayed in the Available Options list again.

11. When you are through assigning options for the group, click the Done button at the bottom of the page.
    The system will save the assignments and the Manage Options Group page will be displayed.

12. If you are through with the Manage Options Group function, click the Done button at the bottom of the page to return to the Storefront Management menu, or click the Feature List link to return to the Main Information page.
