Hello Brothers,
You have been selected to attend our Lodge Leadership Development Conference which is going to be held at camp John J. Barnhardt on October 12th-14th, 2012. This is our lodge’s annual Lodge Leadership Development Conference.
We are looking forward to this opportunity to provide some fantastic training by some of our Lodge, outside Lodges, Council, and Southern Region’s top leaders. We are offering many types of training sessions for you to attend presented by a variety of training styles. Some of the training topics that will be presented include: Advising, Camping, Inductions, Leadership, Management, Interfaith Worship, Ceremony and Membership. These are just a few of the exciting training topics that will be offered.
This conference will prepare you for positions as an officer of the lodge, a chapter officer, a valuable lodge member, a ceremonialist, or an adviser. However, these training sessions are also suited for those who simply want to expand their knowledge of the Order and join in on the opportunities for fun and fellowship.
Check in begins at 5:00PM and the LLDC (Lodge Leadership Development Conference) training will begin at 7:00PM. The first 48 participants to register will be housed in cabins. Participants will be provided a cracker barrel Friday night, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday. Sunday breakfast will be served as well. A three ring binder with all of the presentation materials will be given to each participant.. As the conference comes to a close on Sunday morning all participants who have attended the sessions will be given a certificate of completion, as well as a Lodge Leadership Development Conference limited edition patch. There will be other cool 2012 LLDC “swag” given out during the weekend. (You will have to be in attendance to get it though)
The Lodge Leadership Development Committee and I look forward to seeing you at the Lodge Leadership Development Conference. Remember the first 32 participants are guaranteed a slot in a Conference cabin. (However, if you delay responding please be prepared to use your personal tent for lodging.)
Yours in Service,
Mehi Carruth
