What: NRA Instructor Rifle Shooting Course—this will enable you to instruct scouts in rifle shooting, serve as a merit badge counselor for the rifle merit badge, function as a rifle instructor at a BSA range, and operate a BB range for cub scouts at qualified events
When: March 3-4, 2018 8:00 am to 6:30 pm
Cost: $150 for scout leaders—includes all books, materials, ammunition, and targets. NRA fees are not included $25 Additional discount if signed up before Feb 1, 2018
Why: Shooting sports is a major factor in retention of scouts. By being a trained leader and NRA instructor you can help your unit, district and council provide a year round shooting program for scouts.
