Description
Candidates for the Wilderness & Remote First Aid (WFA) course must be at least 14 years old and possess current CPR/AED certification. CPR/AED training will be offered Friday evening to satisfy this requirement.
The Wilderness & Remote First Aid (WFA) course provides participants with first aid skills in a help delayed environment. Successful completion of the course should provide participants with the ability to properly assess a victim’s condition, determine evacuation options, and provide immediate care. The course will provide several opportunities to practice newly acquired skills during group scenarios.

Logistics
Lodging is available Friday & Saturday night in un-heated staff cabins
Meals will not be provided and there are no nearby restaurants. Plan accordingly and bring your own food.
