If you are rechartering on line this year, you cannot start your recharter process until November 1st. Your ID number is located on the front of your recharter packet on the left side. Changes to BSA Youth Protection Leader Training Effective June 1, 2010
Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers, regardless of their position.
New leaders are required to take Youth Protection training within 30 days of registering. Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer's Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be reregistered.
Guide to Safe Scouting This is a unit leader's guide for current B.S.A. policies and procedures to safe scouting activities. Topics include adult leadership, aquatics safety, camping guidelines, special unit activities, alcohol/tobacco policy, emergencies, first aid, fuels and fire prevention, guns and firearms, sports, inspections, medical information, transportation, youth protection and child abuse and much more.
